Community Training builds safety and knowledge

An experienced Community Trainer with Royal Life Saving Society WA, Liz Fowler delivers Water Safety Talks, Heartbeat Club Courses and Aquatic Training to people wanting to learn more about keeping their families safe.

Water Safety Talks are delivered to Primary School children in the classroom and compliment the WA Education Department's Health curriculum in schools.

High School aged children and Adults from non-English speaking backgrounds are encouraged to participate in this program to help them stay safer during aquatic activities in Australia.

23 people not born in Australia drowned in 2020/2021 while recreating & attempting rescues of others.

Heartbeat Club Courses are a 3 hour program designed for parents & carers of children under the age of 5 years.  During the session water safety is discussed, CPR is practiced and basic first aid is covered.

Grants to deliver this course at your community event are available through Royal Life Saving WA. These sessions are also available for a small cost to Private facilities including Day Care Centers.
