learn to swim...better!
Did you know that children with Autism are 50% more likely to wander to water and find themselves in a life threatening situation than mainstream children?
Autism Swim is a registered charitable organisation specifically for Swimming Instructors to develop skills to teach learners with Autism and their families how be safer in and around aquatic environments.

Completing her qualification in 2020, Liz is the primary Autism Swim Instructor with teachers Monet, Stu, Alyx, Bron, Ciara, Karen and Aimee all in their second year of the certification.

These sessions are delivered in a 30 minute 1:1 Private lesson. Please contact your NDIS case worker for more information on how they can supply funding for this service.
Group Lessons
As children move through their learning experience and become safer in the water, we can look at transitioning them into group lessons where social and behavioral skills can be improved.

Some learners will move towards a 1:2 Adaptive class or a mainstream group of up to 4/5 students.
How to enrol
Learners from 4 years of age up to 12 with additional needs are able to book Private 1:1 swimming lessons as part of our Adaptive Learning Aquatic Program.
Check with your NDIS case worker about covering the gap payment between our mainstream group lessons and private lesson fees.

Private lessons are offered after group lessons in the afternoons during quieter and more relaxed times making it beneficial for the learner and Instructor.
