Wellness Policy

Our policy requires the exclusion of children, adults, and teachers from lessons if they exhibit symptoms or have been diagnosed with the following conditions:

• Chicken Pox: Exclusion until seven days after the final lesion has healed.

• Ringworm: Exclusion until treatment has been confirmed successful.

• Diarrhoea: Exclusion for two weeks after symptoms have ceased.

• School Sores (Impetigo): Exclusion until all lesions are fully healed.

• Measles: Exclusion for seven days following the appearance of the rash.

• Whooping Cough: Exclusion for four weeks after the onset of the cough.

• Mumps: Exclusion until 14 days after symptoms have cleared.

• Conjunctivitis and Laryngitis: Exclusion until symptoms have fully resolved.

• Cold/Flu: Exclusion until all symptoms have cleared.

• Vomiting: Exclusion until the episode has passed.

• Gastroenteritis: Exclusion until 72 hours after the last symptoms

• Plantar Warts (HPV): Treated and covered, please wear footwear in showers and to and from pool edge.

Medical Credits for Missed Lessons:

If your child is unwell and will miss a lesson, a medical credit may be placed on the account to come off an upcoming consecutive enrolment (Term or Holiday Program) providing the Swim School is notified BEFORE your class time via the iClassPro App or Customer Portal.

If your child will be away for an extended period due to illness or medical issues, notification of dates away is required BEFORE your next class is required along with a medical note/doctor’s note.  Credit or Make Up Token is up to the discretion of the Swim School Coordinator
